Beauty and Gratitude

Autumn colors are starting to flare up in the woods. As the weather cools down, we get busier trying to finish projects and get ready for winter.

We have checked off a few things on our to-do list and included a few more. In the past month we have had a 3-day barn sale, taken 9 tandem loads of wood off the fields and given to neighbors, had the driveway asphalted, had a trail-clearing day with hunters, re-potted way too many houseplants, planted some trees, worked on landscaping the yard.  But, most importantly we have enjoyed the weather! 

I didn't take many pictures of the work but have been pausing to record some of the beauty that surrounds us.
